If you are a theater geek, this series is a must to have. Vol 3 is not my favorite, but has classics such as A Change in Me (Beauty & the Beast), Nothing (Chorus Line), Don’t Rain on My Parade (Funny Girl), Everything’s Coming up Roses (Gypsy), My New Philosophy (Charlie Brown). I like Vol 2 and 4 the best!

This is a highly recommended accompaniment cd collection. Tenor Volume 1. These are just PIANO Accompaniment, They are wonderfully recorded and played directly from the original vocal scores, none of those tacky karaoke tracks here!! Also, when you play these on the computer they come with a program which allows tempo adjustment and transposition software which is very cool. Please note, these do not include the sheet music.

Especially for those who do not play piano, or do not play well enough to easily accompany themselves or their students, these CD’s are a great help! I am a huge fan of just such accompaniment CDs with repertoire books. Beautiful arrangements, and very much usable for performances. I would only suggest that a demonstration of each song be provided.

I didn’t read the description thoroughly enough when I ordered this as a gift. This item is just the CDs, not the book with sheet music.
